My name is Abby McCage. I grew up and currently live in medina TN. Growing up, I struggled with feelings of shame about my disability and living with muscular dystrophy. I often felt like it set me apart from others and made me different in ways I didn't know how to embrace. Over time, however, I’ve come to realize that my disability is not something to be ashamed of; it's part of who I am, and it doesn't define my worth. Now, I proudly advocate for a world where all people, regardless of ability, can thrive. My journey has taught me the power of self-acceptance, and through my advocacy work, I aim to challenge stereotypes, raise awareness, and empower others to embrace their true selves.
