Blogging Overview
With Squarespace's built-in Blog Page, you can create blog posts and excerpts, tag and categorize posts, enable comments, push your posts to social media, and more.
Invite Contributor
If you would like to invite people to edit or manage content on your Squarespace site, domains, or other subscriptions, you can invite them to be a contributor and control what they can see by assigning them permissions.
Text
Add Text Links
You can add a link to most text on your site. Use text links to link visitors to more information within bodies of text, like related pages in text blocks, phone numbers or email addresses on contact pages, or an artist's website in an image block caption.
Add Buttons
Use button blocks to add buttons or calls to action to your site. Button blocks can link to pages on your website, other websites, downloadable files, email addresses, or phone numbers.
Images
Add Images
Use image blocks to add images to pages or blog posts. Each Image block displays one image.
Image Shapes
Use image shapes to add variety and a unique visual effect to your images. The shape you choose appears over your image, like a mask. You can add image shapes to any image block layout.
Images: Best Practices
Squarespace takes the guesswork out of formatting your images for display on the web. We create seven variations of each uploaded image, to ensure perfect display on any screen size.
